Nifty won the entire CALIFORNIA CLASSIC - far surpassing our wildest hopes! His obvious

go-getter attitude and Jane and Terry's skill and precision in all three events had the crowds cheering! At the end of her obstacle performance, the announcer said "Well Jane you may as well take a Victory Pass now."

We are so excited! This afternoon California Custom aka Nifty won the entire California Classic, following his spectacular performance yesterday in the Hazards Marathon. On Thursday Nifty performed a beautiful dressage test, getting him a second. Today he went clean in cones and in time, with a score of 99.94, clinching the California Classic.

Here is Nifty in the Marathon, starting with the Bridge Hazard - a daunting hazard entering down a steep ramp with high sides into the water, negotiating piers placed very closely, and dashing out.

Then he proceeds to the Fort of No Appeal Hazard - notice these are solid wood piers driven 18 feet into the ground. A mishap here means loss of time - no just knocking stuff over and proceeding on to save time! Requires expert driving.

The last hazard we filmed is the Water hazard with closely spaced tanks - again solid steel so any misjudgement will result in a real stop.

Nifty's Dressage test is at the bottom of the page.

The crowds love Team Nifty as they shave an average of 9 seconds off all the other times in the hazards. Jane's bold driving style, Nifty's always forward attitude, and Terry's expert assistance produce an exhilarating performance! The announcer said "look in your rear view mirrors - HERE COMES NIFTY" and would comment on Nifty flying through hazards all over the course! No question about it, Nifty is a STAR!
