Fancier Farm
"A Premium Care Facility"

Fancier Farm is a Stallion Station with a special emphasis on providing care for those horses with special needs. We are a unique service willing to provide the extra care that enables the older or at risk horse to be more comfortable and recover more quickly.

We are a full service Stallion Station managed by Joan Dilworth, certified in Stud Farm Management at UC Davis. We currently stand six stallions of diverse breeding. Our breeding services are state of the art.

Our farm places top priority on the health and well being of the horses, providing a low stress environment and friendly service. Two senior horses are allowed to roam free, providing valuable grandparenting to anxious youngsters from time to time. Horses have a variety of chickens, goats, cats, dogs and a lama who wander around to visit.

We have a few shows each year and the facility is available for rent. We have a large covered arena and a sand dressage court. The grooming barn has hot water.

Fancier Farm has been in business 12 years.

Joan and David Dilworth have run the business since 1989.

Our special care is what makes us different: we take horses other facilities reject, and we are willing to help owners cope with the aging or injured horse. We are not a hospital, but we are the answer for those horses who need more care.

Visitors are always welcome, but appointments are appreciated due to our busy schedule!
